Hey Sister! Band has enjoyed a fantastic reputation in the Melbourne Wedding and Corporate Entertainment scene for almost 10 years, the bad consists of seasoned professionals with years of collective experience and a host of Australian Bridal Industry Awards under their belt.
The members, each having managed successful function bands over the past 10-15 years, have also worked together at various times over the years. Through these occasions, they realised that between them, they had that special 'on-stage chemistry' that just couldn't be ignored. They also found that they shared a common work ethic and commitment to providing the highest level of all-round service, in other words... we believe in great musicianship, great vocals, great entertainment, attention to detail, and the extra 'little touches'.
Between them, the band members have won 8 Australian Bridal Industry Awards, in the fields of: "Live Entertainment", "Master of Ceremonies" and "Ceremony Music" and have been either Winners or Runner up in at least one of these categories for 9 years running. The Australian Bridal Industry Awards (ABIA's) are voted exclusively by Brides & Grooms!
We offer an exceptional level of musicianship, outstanding male & female vocals, duets and harmonies, a Huge repertoire that covers all music styles to suit all ages and tastes, and those little special touches like punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail and the commitment to working together with you, to ensure your function is the successful event that you want it to be.
We arrive at 1.5-2 hours prior to function start time, to ensure that everything is set-up sound-checked and ready to go by the time your guests start to arrive.
Our dress code is strictly elegant and upmarket (unless otherwise requested) - and we are happy to consult with you to ensure that we blend in with the theme of the occasion
Our manner when dealing with Guests and Venue staff on the night, is always courteous, polite, friendly and accommodating, between us, we own several PA and Lighting Systems, and you can be assured that we will use the best possible equipment to suit each individual function, whether intimate or large-scale
We always strive to keep our sound levels conservative and mindful of people's need to talk and socialise, particularly during the dinner part of the evening... After which, we are happy to crank up the sound and encourage guests to party with us!!
