TroveresseTroveresse (Troves for short), is Melbourne's newest and most exciting medieval music ensemble, devoted to bringing medieval music to 21st-century audiences in a way which combines musical excellence with a lively, innovative and accessible presentation. Troveresse combines vocal and instrumental music with stories, poetry and drama to bring the Middle Ages to exuberant life on stage.

The ensemble, founded in early 2007, brings together excellent singers and instrumentalists with a range of backgrounds and a shared love for the music of the Middle Ages. Experience in Middle Eastern, Gypsy, Celtic and a range of other traditional music from all over the world combines with classical and early music training to create a free and improvisatory style which is enchantingly different. We specialise in performing for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events and private functions of all kinds.
Troveresse has a very extensive repertoire and can find the music to lift your special occasion out of the realms of the everyday. We are at home indoors and outdoors, performing ethereal music for the ceremony or exciting and hypnotic dance music for your reception or function and we can teach your guests the dance steps!
