The extensive repertoire ranging from, Classical, Jazz, Latin, Brazilian. Big Band, Covers, to world music and professional, musical taste and ability, has made the band “Something Blue” a sought after group in Australia and overseas. They have performed at major Festivals and functions, including regular engagements at the prestigious Hayman Island Resort-Qld.
“Something Blue” is equally well known as a versatile dance band performing songs in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French languages.
Australian born singer of Italian origin. Nadia’s carrier is a colourful array of experiences ranging from television acting to voice over announcer, and a much-sought vocalist in the Australian industry.
Having studied drama and voice productions with acclaimed teacher Graham Clarke, Nadia’s vocal carrier has diversified into a variety of music styles, from Opera to Musicals to Pop/Cover repertoire. Her vocal delivery and style is a unique blend of influences ranging from Ella Fitzgerald to Karen Carpenter to Christine Aguilera. Her current repertoire is an exquisite compilation of the most requested songs of the last thirty years. Comprising Latin, Italian, French, Portuguese and English popular hits.
Rob lifetime of dedication to music has led him to explore all the aspect of the industry. He studied classical music at the Victorian College of the Arts, achieving the Music Associate Diploma in 1982. His passion for jazz took him to study jazz improvisation with American saxophonist Jamie Abersold, acclaimed bassist and tutor Rufus Read, Bassist Virtuoso John Patitucci, Dr. David Backer (Jazz Lecturer and Historian at Indiana University), pianists Mick Knock and Al Gulper and celebrated trumpeter Randy Brecker.
Rob is an experienced Entertainer, Multi-instrumentalist, Arranger, Musical Director, Conductor, Band Leader, Music Programmer and Producer.
Being multi-lingual he sings in Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and English.
