Frank Benedetto is Melbourne’s ULTIMATE modern day crooner.  Coming from very humble beginnings, Frank has burst onto the Jazz and Swing scene with his popularity growing with every performance. He combines a mixture of individual styles into one to make each song he delivers uniquely his. Frank has now become one of the most sort after performers singing with some of the best Big Bands in and out of Melbourne, including Matt Amy’s really big band and the B Sharp Big Band. Frank has also entertained with small combo’s at some of the most prestigious and exclusive venues in Australia.

Music has always been a very important part of Frank’s life since a very young age of 12. Coming from a very musically talented family and being a distant relative of the legend who is “Tony Bennett”, there was no doubt that Frank was destined for a successful career in the music industry.

Frank’s major influences have always been some of the worlds greatest voices and entertainers, including Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Joe Williams and Johnny Hartman and recently Harry Connick Jnr and Michael Buble’.  It all started for Frank when he was first invited to perform live with a 22 piece Big Band at the “Brian Stacy Memorial Trust Night”, together with artists such as Bob Valentine, Nina Ferro, Tracy Bartram, Nichaud Fitzgibbon, Michael Cormack (From the Eureka Musical), and various cast members from “The Producers”. “It was an indescribable feeling performing with the hottest 22 piece big band in Country.  600 guests at the famous Hi Fi club in Melbourne and the band was on fire!”. The band was assembled especially for the night and included the finest musicians from all over Australia. That was certainly an unforgettable experience for Frank and later become a pinnacle moment which began a chain reaction and which eventually brought Frank to where he is now.

“Franks love and passion for music and in particular swing and jazz is certainly apparent in every performance”. John Spruce, The Melbourne Times.

“Frank has an honest and sincere approach when singing and performing, and audiences are captured and warmed by his smooth, rich, velvet voice”. “The Australian”

“What a fantastic show…..He was certainly the stand-out performer” The Moreland Leader.

“Frank can sing and I mean sing! His intonation is spot on, his sound is rich. He phrases with feeling and swings infectiously” Metropolitan Style Magazine.
