RED VELVET BAND

Red Velvet is a versatile four piece professional musical act from Melbourne, Australia; the members of which perform home and abroad. The band members work regularly in the jazz, commercial, rock, studio and theatre scenes.

 Red Velvet would be highly suited to a lounge setting. Their repertoire ranges from Jazz, Rock, Reggae, Funk and Blues to current pop. Although Red Velvet is a new outfit, Collectively, the band’s experience includes regular work with such Melbourne bands as Heatwave, Soulstew, Blue Ruin, Black Pony Express, Winston, Plastic Palace Alice,  Gazelles and  Flirt.

 Other experience includes the professional theatre shows, Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mary Poppins, Wicked, Chicago and Spamalot; and Cruise ship contracts  with the QE2, QM2 (Cunard), Navigator (Royal Caribbean), Pacific Sun (PNO),  and the Diamond Princess (Princess).

Collectively Red Velvet members have performed at over 1000 functions and performances at many venues including Melbourne Crown Casino, Carousel (Albert Park), Corner Hotel, Marina Bay Sands (Singapore), Atlantis Hotel (Dubai), Skycity Casino (Darwin Cup), Melbourne Cup, Alice Springs Cup, St Regis Hotel (Singapore).
