email3 (5,230 bytes) Kristilee - Pianist

Kristilee has been a professional Entertainer for over 15 years.  From critically acclaimed comedy shows, to solo piano bar gigs, jazz ensembles, lead roles in musical theatre productions, original music performances and recording, this versatile musician/actor/comedian has covered a diverse range of genres.

Kristilee’s career has regularly seen her appearing with some of Australia’s foremost musicians.  Among them are Debra Byrne, John Foreman, Casey Bennetto (Keating), Dan Barnett, George Washingmachine, Julie O’Hara & Nina Ferro.  A relatively recent arrival to the Australian jazz scene, she has played Lord Howe Island with the Fireworks Jazz Band and Thredbo and Newcastle Jazz Festivals with State Summit; an All-Star band featuring Bob Henderson, Paul Furniss, Steve Grant, Ian Smith, Chris Ludowyk & Mark Elton.

The past several years have seen Kristilee unleashing her unique blend of talents upon the world at large.  What began as a one month contract playing solo gigs in a piano bar in Dresden led to years of travelling, playing and sampling the gastronomic delights of Europe, Scandinavia the UK and Morocco.  N.B. Following a two month engagement at the Casablanca Hyatt, Morocco, during which time the song was requested at least 10 times every night, Kristilee has vowed to NEVER AGAIN play ‘As Time Goes By’.

Based on her experiences in the piano bars of the world and drawn from the wealth of emails sent to incredulous (but highly entertained) family and friends while she was travelling, Kristilee wrote and starred in Melbourne Comedy Festival hit show ‘Ramblings’.  The show garnered a 4 star review in The Age and heralded the arrival of a brilliant new talent on the Australian comedy scene.  Since then, she has again toured internationally, only recently returning from a piano bar gig at a Thermal Spa Resort in the Austrian Alps.

Entertaining, witty, talented, engaging and with a BIG voice, Kristilee is a unique performer who, if she continues to add feather after feather to her cap, will most certainly need a new one soon.
