Melanie is a classically trained musician with opera and musical theatre credits. Her career in jazz and bossa/funk was launched overseas with a recording deal and regular performances on the European jazz circuit. In 1996 she was invited to perform at the Montreaux Jazz Festival. She now lives in Melbourne where she works with some of the finest jazz musicians in the country.
Ladybird can be booked as a Duo, Trio or Four piece band, and Melanie can also be booked as a Soloist for the Wedding Ceremony. Ask us for their special Ceremony and Reception packages - these have proven very popular.
