Craig Vance has had a busy millennium so far, opening the "Sydney Festival 2000" at Customs House and again in 2001 at Sydney Opera House. His popularity as a cabaret performer (alias his character Velma Vegas) in Sydney, became apparent when he performed in the very successful run of the Red Roar production of "Raunch" at Belvoir St Theatre. Craig also headlined at The Seymour Centre for Mardi Gras 2000 and by popular demand again in 2001 and was triumphant at his inclusion in the Frocks @ Fox extravagance in 2001 and 2002..

Craig has also enjoyed success performing his one man shows at various venues up and done the east coast and was thrilled with the invitation to headline at the Cabaret Festival in his hometown Brisvegas in 2002 and again the following year. 2003 saw Craig's return to the Sydney Opera House in the Studio production of Gender Offender before being whisked back to Brisbane to sing for the Lord Mayor in the A to Z of Cabaret at Town Hall and solo performances at the Queensland Performing Arts Complex (Qpac) for Cabarets' Sunday Soirees.

2004 started with a band in Melbourne singing with Miss Dolly's Karaoke at the launch of Midsummer Festival 2003 at Federation Square in front of 25,000 people.
