La REVELACIONCombo La Revelacion is regarded as one of Australia’s foremost Latin American bands. It was one of the first Big Bands to introduce the sounds of Latin American music to Melbourne.
Formed in 1986 by Jorge Aguilar, arranger and director from Lima Peru, this ten piece band is well known for its tight brass arrangements, musical precision and full percussion section that typifies Latin American music.
Combo La Revelacion performs with a distinct Latin flavor, offering different styles such as: merengue, cha-cha, mambo and cumbia .However , it is most popular for specializing in salsa , an Afro-Latin American rhythm.
