The dynamic trio will woo you with their electrifying and charismatic performance, the gags, the costumes and the hilarious between-song banter… in the tradition of the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Co.), and backed by the ultimate nig swing band, lead by the highly respected piano player/MD Mark Fitzgibbon.
Brian Mannix is best known as lead singer of The Uncanny X Men, with No. 1 hits like “Everybody Wants To Work”, “Party” and “50 Years”. He was destined to become a household name, selling out massive venues throughout the 80’s, from Festival Hall to Horden Pavilion.

Brian has now finished a five week shoot on the new series “Bogan Pride” written by and starring Rebel Wilson (Fat Pizza, The Wedge, Ghost Rider) The 6 part series in hitting screens in October on SBS.
Mannix (who had a brief roll in the 2000 film “Chopper” alongside Eric Banner) will be playing father to Wilson’s character Jenny Cragg, a moccasin wearing bogan from the Western Suburbs. When asked about the show Mannix said, “It’s designed to offend everyone, it’s kinda Kath and Kim meet Summer Heights High, something everyone can relate to.”

A musical performance covering some of the all time big swing standards, and jazzin’ up their own classic 80’s hits while putting swing jazz interpretation to some great popular songs!
Eva Von Bibra is best know as a member of 80’s chart topping band the Chantoosies. The band had huge success with hits like “Wanna Be Up”, “Witch Queen” and “Kiss and Tell”.
Most recently Eva played the character of Jackie Shepard, a flight attendant who captured the heart of Shane Jackobson in the popular Aussie flick “Kenny”. Eve has just finished filming the TV series of “Kenny” which is airing on Network 10 late in 2008.

When not focusing on her acting career Eve is performing with the 80’s Brat Pack and writing her own music which she says is “Completely different to her Chantoozies days, It’s a mix of country and blues something that really reflects her own personality”.
Scott Carne successfully rode the “new wave” of 80’s pop with his band Kids in the Kitchen. The band had success with the Platinum selling debut album “Shine”, which yielded five Top 10 singles including “Change in Mood”, “Bitter Desire” and “Current Stand”.

Kids in the Kitchen quickly became a household name, and signed an international deal with Warner Brothers/ Sire Records (Madonna’s management and USA record contract).
The second LP “Terrain” was released in 1986 and contained two Top 20 hits “Say It” and “Revolution Love”, which saw the Kids touring the world before returning to Australia to break venue capacity records!
Scott was a popular host on Countdown, doing many a gig for Molly while the hat man was travelling and also performed before royalty (Charles and Diana).
These days Scott is more behind the scenes, running a successful Booking Agency “POPSHOP” but says he prefers nothing more than jumping on stage performing with his 80’s mates and playing with the Brat Pack band.

The 80’s Brat Pack will take you back to the future and get you swinging.
Mark Fitzgibbon (son of well known singer Smacka Fitzgibbon) is an integral part of Melbourne’s ever widening Jazz scene.

He is a past winner of the Wangaratta piano award and has worked with many of Australia’s finest including Dale Barlow, Bernie McGann, Vince Jones, Chris McNulty, Christine Sullivan and Wilbur Wilde.
Mark was based in London in the 80’s and worked throughout Europe and Britain. He returned to Melbourne in 1991 where he led the hardbop sextet “GO” with Scott Tinkler and Ian Chaplin which engendered a cult following. Mark has accompanied visiting artists such as Mark Murphy, Scott Hamilton, Lee Konitz, John Stubblefield, Lew Tabackin and Charles McPherson.

“Mark Fitzgibbon is one of the most under-rated talents in the country. Always musically tasteful, a consistently sympathetic accompanist, a repository of a vast repertoire and an impeccable touch, he can produce blistering solos and “lift” the music to another level.”
